About the Shows:
Make plans this summer to bring the remarkable story of a young Abraham Lincoln to life on stage. Set in the woods of his boyhood home at the picturesque Lincoln Amphitheatre, this special 30th anniversary edition of Young Abe Lincoln is a playful story chronicling the events that shaped our 16th president as he grew up in Southern Indiana. This heartwarming and adventurous musical is sure to be a great experience for everyone involved.
Oliver! is a musical theatre masterpiece, perfectly showcasing the talents of a large ensemble cast as they bring classic characters to life. The streets of Victorian England come to life as Oliver, a malnourished orphan in a workhouse, becomes the neglected apprentice of an undertaker. Oliver escapes to London and finds acceptance among a group of petty thieves and pickpockets led by the elderly Fagin. When Oliver is captured for a theft he did not commit, the benevolent victim, Mr. Brownlow takes him in. Fearing the safety of his hideout, Fagin employs the sinister Bill Sikes and the sympathetic Nancy to kidnap him back, threatening Oliver’s chances of discovering the true love of a family.
